The Story Behind The Spin Art Cupcakes...
Carrie's grandparents were crafters who traveled to art and craft shows through out Florida and the southeast.  Carrie's grandfather, who made wooden toys and sold them at craft shows, made the spin art table in the mid 70s as a way to produce extra income.  He originally made the table to spin paper while being decorated with squirt bottles of paint.  He also made the table completely self-contained and battery operated.  When Carrie's grandfather passed away in January of 2007 she inherited the spin art table and began setting it up at fall festivals.  At one of those festivals Carrie and Ericka met and a friendship began at the spin art table.  A year later as Carrie and Ericka began talking about a cupcake business it occurred to them they could utilize the spin art table for something other than just paper.  They decided to make the spin art table appealing to all the senses and after modifying the table to spin cupcakes instead of paper, Carrie and Ericka began Crazy Cakes!
